The European Central Bank (ECB) - The European Central Bank (ECB) was founded on June 1, 1988 to control the circulation of the euro. In the period leading up to the third stage of Economic and Financial Education Union (issuance of a single European currency Jan. 1, 1999), he was responsible for the implementation of financial policy of the EU. The ECB, which is an independent entity, manages the activities of its individual members, such as the German Bundesbank (Deutsche Bundesbank), French bank (Banque de France) and the Italian bank (Ufficio Italiano dei Cambi). The relevant authorities of the ECB control European System of Central Banks whose task is to control money circulation, conduct foreign exchange operations and maintenance of the accumulation of foreign exchange reserves of the Member States of the Union, as well as ensuring the proper functioning of the European settlement of the financial institution (EDF).
